Cross Country Camp and Practice
Hi girls! I know we have discussed going to camp this year, which I think is a great idea. I want you to go as a team and use this camp not only for the runs and workouts before the season, but also as a team bonding trip. We will not be going to camp if we do not have enough runnners who sign up. The deadline for registration to the camp is Aug. 1st, which is next Saturday,which means it is coming up very fast!!!! You will have to sign up online at http://www.bennettrunningcamp.typepad.com/. Do not sign up until I tell you, because I have to make sure we have enough runners going.
Now, on to the topic of PRACTICE. I am seing a pattern of the same runners coming to practice. I am proud of those who are making the time and commitment to this team. Now I expect to see more of you at practice. We meet Tuesday and Thurday mornings at 8:00 at the high school. If we want to be successful this year, we need to be running, we need to be coming to practice, we need to be working hard. Summer is going by fast, and before you know it you will be starting pre-season. If you want to contribute to this team, and you want to be the best you can be, you need to come in shape, and you need to be RUNNING. So, make the time, make the commitment to getting in shape and getting prepared for this year's season.

Summer Running
Hi Girls! I hope everyone's summer is going well. Of course I hope you have been running!!! We start practice next Tuesday, July 7. Be at the high school by 7:50 ish. We will be heading to the park at 8:00. Also, if you did not get your physical done at the high school, please take care of this ASAP. Get it done so you it won't be a problem closer to the start of the season. I'm excited for this season and can't wait to see you on Tuesday!
